The technical requirements for metal shafts include dimensional accuracy, geometric shape accuracy, processing position accuracy and surface roughness:
Dimensional accuracy: The diameter accuracy of the journal is usually IT6-9, and the precision journal can reach IT.
Geometric shape accuracy: The roundness and cylindricity of the journal should be limited to the range of the diameter tolerance point.
Processing position accuracy: The coaxiality of the matching journal of the assembled transmission part relative to the supporting journal of the assembled bearing is 0.001~0.005mm for high-precision shafts and 0.01~0.03mm for general precision shafts.
Surface roughness: The surface roughness of the spindle journal of ordinary machine tools is Ra0.16~0.63um. With the improvement of machine speed and accuracy, the surface roughness requirements are getting smaller and smaller.
